Earlier this year I was on the Berlinale film festival and saw a bunch of cool movies, but there was one that I fell in love with. Amazing story, characters and funny. It also has some fantastic music peices. If you are able, I would very much recomend you to watch this film. just do it

I wonder why nobody does parodies on this movie.
I guess left wing terrorists aren't as interesting as fascists. ;-)

yes, the martian is probably the only good movie in the recent times available in bigger movie theaters. I was particularly impressed by the fact that the movie keeps your attention without resorting to convoluted plot or special effect fights. Definite reccomend

Deadpool is a top movie! Loved every second of it.
Utilizes some great music. And the intro has some awesome filmatic effects.

Right up there with days of future past, Kick ass I and Watchmen on my list.

Marvel has a pretty damned good track record with their movies now.
Usually a franchise is ruined with the 3 or 4th movie. They just keep on delivering better each time.
Deep down, everybody fears the Clownageddon.

I can recommend Blade Runner 2047. Top notch cinematography and a great story.

If you like weird things from alternative history, sci-fi, "Dune" saga in particular, then check this old Mexican - Alejandro Jodorowski: Jodorowsky's Dune

And if you like to add a topping sprinkled with a liquid hallucinogen, watch The Holy Mountain (1973) [WARNING: not for the faint-hearted and the ancient trailer doesn't really make it justice]

I enjoy watching a lot of foreign movies (American and a little of Indian) don't like watching Philippines or Mexicans except it is about their war against drugs i.e Narcos, and series with good story lines. But in recent times the Nigerian movie industry has been improving their content and I may eventually switch from watching foreign movies to locally produced movies
