    This Laptop?

What do you guys think about this:
Asus ROG GL553VD-DS71 7Gen Core i7 Quad Core

    - i7-7700HQ Processor (2.8GHz Clock Speed, 3.8GHz Max Turbo , 4 Core , 6M Cashe )
    - 16 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM Memory
    - Display: 15.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080) Matte No Touch Screen Display
    - NVIDIA GeForece GTX 1050 w/ 4GB GDDR5 Video Memory
    - 1TB 7200RPM Hard Drive

Portability is a must in this case but I'm not sure how it will fair with Planetside (only Planetside), particularly the GPU.
There is a 50℅ price jump on the next model up the ladder, because it includes an SSD and a 1060. So if this doesn't cut it, no bueno...

    Hoi Kara,

    I have a Asus ROG G750JS-RS71 17-inch Gaming Laptop
    -2.4GHz - 3.4GHz Intel Core I7-4700HQ Quad-Core Processor
    -16GB DDR3 RAM
    - 1 TB SDD hard disk
-NVidia GeForce GT 870M Graphics W/ 3GB DDR5 Graphics Memory
    -Windows 8.1 64bit
He is almost 3 years old and it works still fine. I payed 1950 Euro for it.
Can play PS2 if i want on ultra settings, but for my frame rate in large batlles i changed some settings like fog, flora, effects etc...
frame rate between 60 and 110.

Too late Redstone, saw your post! Was wondering if anyone has a 1050 and plays Planetside. That would be the best source of info.
    Would this card be better?
Dual GeForce GTX 1060 OC 3GB, it has more Cuda cores and significantly more frequency per core, but less vRAM.
I may consider it if the 1050 is poo.

You should be debatably fine with the 1050. But it might become a bottleneck later on. At least your CPU is future-proof.
